Ballet Beginnings

Ballet Beginnings: This class meets once a week and is recommended for students ages 4-5 years old. While still providing flexibility for creative play, this class fosters an understanding of movement and music while introducing more structure and form. Students will explore basic ballet concepts and positions and build skills such as active listening, coordination, and sequence recognition. It serves a bridge between Creative Movement and the more formal structure of the Pre-Professional Division. This level is not developmentally appropriate for students younger than 4. Classes are designed to be "drop-off," with parent/guardian(s) waiting in the lobby. Students are encouraged to start at the beginning of a session but are welcome to join at any time. Ballet Beginnings is offered in 5-week sessions.

Minimum Age Requirements: Students enrolling in Ballet Beginnings must be at least 4 years of age by the first day of the session for which they are registering.

Tuition Per 5-Week Session (1 class per week): $78
Registration Deadline: 2 weeks prior to the start of a session.
